Blaze a trail of benevolence that travels around the nation -- or the world. When you Relay the Difference, you keep one copy for yourself and pass one on so others can take action, too. Here's how it works:

1. Choose an action in the book to complete within 24 hours.

2. Once you complete it, on the inside front cover, write down its number, the date, and the location (city, and state or nation) where you acquired the book.

3. Hand off or mail the book to someone else, pointing them to the instructions that you've affixed to the book's first page. (Download and print out a Relay the Difference instruction sticker here; it fits on a 3 1/2- x 4-inch label, or you can use regular paper and tape.)

When there is no more room on the front or back inside covers to record completed actions, the last person is instructed to return the book to the author; results will be reported on this website.
